Act 5 Scene 1

Scene Summary

Romeo is in a fairly good mood, he sees Balthasar expecting good news from Verona however he gets the complete opposite. Balthasar then delivers the devastating news that Romeos wife; Juliet is dead.

This quote shows that money is more dangerous than poisen, it has killed more people than poisen.

Explanation

I think that Juliet is hinting something dramatic will happen that night.

Act 4 Scene 4

Quotation:

“Hold take these keys and fetch more spices, Nurse.”

Explanation

Lady Capulet is asking the nurse to prepare for the wedding day where Juliet; Lady Capulets daughter will be marrying the wealthy Paris.

Act 4 Scene 5

Quotation

“My child, my only life! Revive, look up, or I shall die with thee.”

Explanation

Lady Capulet is in a state that her only child is to be seen dead on the day of her wedding early in the morning. She explains how she will die with her because without her there is no point in living.
